]]>While I have no knowledge of “fracking” in GA, pipelines are being proposed. You can find information regarding permitting and applications through the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Gas pipelines will only increase the amount of extreme extraction occurring in other areas, and stall the creation of new, localized, sustainable energy sources. Furthermore- pipelines cannot exist without VOC and other toxic emitting compressor stations approximately every 40 miles.
