If you are a homeowner you may want to tell hubby he has more to lose than his health. He can lose the house because I believe you may be or will be uninsurable due to the close proximity to the well. You may never be able to resell your home. It’s happening in Texas right now.

I am interested in submitting photos from Idaho– where we are standing on the brink of oil and natural gas production. We have ten approved wells, one currently in production which is a split estate with state-owned mineral rights, several that were drilled and deemed not viable, and four “pending” well applications.
Just last week, the Bureau of Land Management held a public meeting on leasing as the feds own mineral rights/land in one of the plays here– the Willow Field.
In addition we’ve are seeing our first application for “integration”. This probably seems like small change for most folks, but I’ve given tours of our production areas and had folks from Colorado remark that Idaho was VERY reminiscent of the Front Range in Colorado when industry first showed up…
I also want to ask if there’s anywhere on your site where people can upload any other critical data, such as inspection reports, violations, accidents, etc.?
Thanks for all of the great information!

]]>Thank you for all your efforts to educate the American Public to the dangers of this insidious and toxic natural gas extraction process. On a recent visit to Potter County, PA, “Gods Country”, we learned that the PA State Forest Lands are being sold to the gas industry for well sites. Many of the State’s Forests are literally pocked marked with well sites in the middle of old growth forests. We also learned that the PA Boat and Fish Commission is likewise selling public land to the industry for drilling sites. It’s a very sad state of affairs.
I’m a staunch opponent of this drilling process and believe that a catastrophic event will result soon. It’s inevitable.
Lastly, we can blame our elected leaders at the State and Federal levels for selling what’s left of our environment down the tubes. Our Government is corrupt. PMK
